Out of concern for the preservation of our environment, as soon as I became a BS in Chemical Engineering in Peru I chose to work in the corrosion control field within the Oil and Gas industry. First in technical sales of treating chemicals, then moving on to join the Corrosion Control Committee of Oleoducto Nor Peruano for PetroPeru. After moving to the USA in 1989 I have devoted myself to the analysis of data from In Line Inspections (ILI) producing reports that have enabled operators in the US and elsewhere to preserve/enhance the integrity of their pipeline systems benefiting the safety of the public while safeguarding our environment.
