Be part of NACE Education as a member of the General Coatings Subcommittee. As a volunteer, you will lend your coatings expertise to assist with reviewing and approving technical course content for the Education courses that fall within the General Coatings portfolio. Volunteers provide general oversight and assist with the direction of courses within the Subcommittee in accordance with the Education Operating Manual. While working with other members of the Subcommittee and NACE staff, you will form and implement strategies to support committee objectives and offer input on Education organizational policy.
Must have extensive knowledge and background in one ore more of the courses in which the subcommittee member has responsibility. These courses include pipeline coatings, marine coatings, or general coatings.
Four, two-hour virtual meetings are held in a year. Beyond the meetings, additional time may be required to accomplish the tasks that are determined after these meetings.
QualificationsRecommended that you have either taken or taught one of the following courses: PCA, PCS, Marine Coating Technology, SCAT, OCAT.
