Corrosion Consortia 2018 Programs

The Corrosion Consortia will focus on two satellite industries that are seeking the latest corrosion technology and research solutions. The Consortia seeks to provide initial attention and guidance to Additive Manufacturing and Maritime from corrosion science and engineering industry experts. Collaborate in a neutral forum to research innovative solutions to address key industry challenges.

Additive Manufacturing

Additive Manufacturing

NACE seeks to bring awareness of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and its broader applications to the industry. AM allows for greater design ability and for assemblies to be printed in one process. This operational efficiency reduces production time, minimizing time to market and reduces risk.

The Consortia seeks to bring together industry thought leaders to contribute their expertise to developing new technology in AM.

Bring your industry expertise to the table.

About the Corrosion Consortia

The industry’s only corrosion-related consortia administered by the premier global corrosion engineering association. As an unbiased third party, NACE brokers partnerships between individuals, non-profit organizations, universities, and government bodies to perform research and development in six key industries. The Consortia will provide knowledge and expertise to those seeking to mitigate corrosion in their assets.

Consortia members will formalize the overall structure and scope of each project while NACE brokers the partnerships between researchers and provides proven cloud-based platforms for sharing proprietary research in a secure environment.
