This Half-day Introduction to Basic Corrosion will provide you with a basic overview of the theoretical and practical aspects of corrosion. It will provide a brief description of what corrosion is, forms of corrosion and why corrosion control is important.This program is directed towards any person interested in a basic understanding of corrosion, including but not limited to:
Anyone needing a basic understanding of corrosion. No previous training in corrosion control is required. However, to gain the most from this course, a basic understanding of science and chemistry is recommended. This is a 4-hour program and lunch is provided. The course will take place at the BCIT Student Association Council Chambers on the second floor of the SE2 building at the centre of the campus. We also would like to invite you to a Social Event starting at 5PM until 9PM at the Habitat Pub right after the course.
