Ethics-Course-Screen-Shot-1.jpgHouston, Texas – NACE International proudly announces the release of its newest course, Ethics for the Corrosion Professional, now available online. The 90-minute course uses an engaging format to deliver content which is reinforced by examples, activities and case studies based on real-life ethics violations received by the NACE International Institute.

“We’re excited about offering this new educational program because we have built in a lot of interactivity to keep the student engaged, including videos, knowledge checks and other activities designed so students see how to apply the concepts to their professional life,” said Pam Nicoletti, Director of Education for NACE International. “We also developed several downloadable resources students can use for reference well beyond completion of the course.”

The course includes content provided by industry experts including the Past Chair of the National Engineering Association Ethics Board and a group of NACE members with extensive litigation experience, the course material applies to a broad range of corrosion industry-professionals including craftworkers, CEOs, NACE International Institute certification holders, and members of NACE International.

Ethics for the Corrosion Professional is one of NACE International’s first responsive programs which adapts the course to fit the dimensions of commonly used devices (computer, tablet, smartphone) to ensure an optimal viewing and learning experience for the end user.

For students who opt into the course, NACE International will forward their transcript to the NACE Institute to indicate completion for certification and recertification requirements.
