Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Issues No Objection Letter for Combination of NACE International and SSPC

  

Houston, Texas and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – September 21, 2020 – NACE International, The Corrosion Society and SSPC, The Society for Protective Coatings announced today that the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General has issued a statement of no objection to the combination of the two organizations. This milestone represents the last approval needed to combine the associations.

In May, the NACE-SSPC Transition Team approved the appointment of integration teams consisting of members and staff from both organizations to manage the process of combining the associations’ operations and services. The official transition to one organization is expected to take place on January 1, 2021 with complete integration of the organizations expected to occur in intervals beyond that date.
