NACE International Releases Its Latest New Publication Infrastructure Insights

Houston, Texas – May 23, 2019 – In conjunction with global Infrastructure Week activities, NACE International’s publishing division today announced the release of its newest digital publication, Infrastructure Insights. This free digital publication includes news and information about corrosion of infrastructure and will be delivered on a tri-annual basis via email. Access to the publication and complimentary subscriptions are available online at nace.org.

Infrastructure Insights is designed for professionals who work to mitigate corrosion on assets such as bridges, roads, tunnels, telecommunication networks, rail networks, power supply networks, pipelines, and any other infrastructure impacted by or at risk of corrosion.

“Many of the materials that are used to build these assets, such as concrete, steel, cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel, brass, copper, and other materials, are subject to corrosion attack,” said Eliina Lizarraga, Group Publisher for NACE International. “Corrosion is inevitable, and expensive when it’s not managed properly, but there are cost-saving options and solutions. We hope our new publication will inform the audiences who can benefit the most from this insight.”

The inaugural issue of Infrastructure Insights will feature stories covering topics such as fossil fuel steam plants, nuclear fuel steam plants, concrete bridge girders, rail systems, and includes an educational course schedule, an infrastructure publications list, and a list of reports, standards, and test methods pertaining to the industry.

Subscriptions to Infrastructure Insights are available for free and can be acquired by visiting the NACE website.
