World Corrosion OrganizationWorld Corrosion Organization Meeting

Thursday, March 15, 2007
2 to 5 p.m.

The World Corrosion Organization (WCO) will conduct its first meeting during CORROSION/2007 in Nashville, Tennessee. The WCO grew out of a series of international roundtables held at previous annual corrosion conferences.

The WCO is an association of societies and organizations concerned with corrosion around the world. Founding members include the Australasian Corrosion Association (ACA), the Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection (CSCP), the European Federation for Corrosion (EFC), and NACE International. These corrosion societies, along with corrosion organizations from several other countries, have joined together for the purpose of raising the awareness of corrosion and corrosion protection around the world, improving the efficiency of and disseminating information regarding corrosion, minimizing the duplication of efforts by members’ services and products, and representing the interests of member societies and organizations internationally.

Representatives from all corrosion organizations attending CORROSION/2007 are invited to attend this international meeting.
