Important Notice

Committees are organized by Specific Technology Groups (STGs) and listed numerically. Under the STGs, they appear numerically by Technical Exchange Group (TEG) and then by Task Group (TG).

Following each TEG and TG title is a three-digit number in parentheses, e.g. (049). This is the committee designation. (Note that TEG designations are always followed by an “X”).

Two-digit numbers in brackets that follow the committee designation, e.g. (049) [05, 62], indicate other STGs that have a direct interest in the committee’s assignment.

The matrix structure of NACE technical committees is designed to bring together experts from various industries who are concerned with a specific technology to give input into consensus documents produced by NACE, and streamline the sharing of technology in less formal ways.
