Chi Chi grew up in the hot, dusty sugar cane fields of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, where he helped his father tend the fields. His golf career began at the age of 12, when he shot a 67. Chi Chi became well-known for his hand-eye coordination and imagination; skills that have made him overcome all types of obstacles.

Chi Chi showcases these skills at golf clinics and exhibitions around the country. However, his talents extend far beyond what he is able to do with a golf ball. From his matador routine to his good-natured impersonations of fellow competitors, Chi Chi is an entertainer at heart, who claims "I don't exaggerate—I just remember big!"
