Students seeking certification for Internal Corrosion Technologist, who are not taking the Internal Corrosion for Pipelines Course, will take the same written and practical examinations which are offered in this course. Return to Top   Exam-Only Option If a student does not pass the Examination Only Option on the first try, and still wishes to obtain this certification, he or she must then take the Internal Corrosion for Pipelines Course. However, there is no minimum waiting period. The student may immediately register for the next Internal Corrosion for Pipelines Course. If the student does not pass the second try on the examination at the end of the course, a six month waiting period is required before retaking the course.
