Don't miss this year's Jungle Out!!! 

NACE Pittsburgh Section and WPCCC are hosting their annual 'Jungle Out' golf outing.  This years Jungle Out will be held at Pittsburgh North Golf Course in Gibsonia, PA on Thursday June 14th, 2012.  The format is an 18 hole scramble with a 9:30 AM shotgun start. Skill prize holes throughout the course.  Hotdogs and beverages at the turn, steak dinner and prizes at the finish.  You won't want to miss it!

The Western Pennsylvania Corrosion Control Committee  and NACE Pittsburgh Section would like to extend an invitation to you and other members of your company to attend the WPCCC Annual Vendors Meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at The Lamplighter Restaurant, in Delmont, PA. The meeting starts at 10:00 AM.  Our guest speaker will be Ralph Graeser from the Public Utility Commission. A FREE buffet luncheon will be provided at the conclusion of the meeting.  If you are interested in attending or exhibiting, please RSVP to Lori Byrge @ lbyrge@nisource.com.  Please note that a $5.00 member fee will be collected from all attendees.

Our next meeting will be a foundry tour on Monday, October, 10, 2011 at Duraloy Technologies in Scottdale, PA.   This will be a joint meeting with the American Foundry Society Pittsburgh Chapter.   Please arrive at 9:00 a.m. for registration.  The tour will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and last until 11:30 a.m.  Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. The cost to attend this meeting is $20.00.

If you haven’t been fortunate enough to tour a foundry, this is a great opportunity to do so.  
 

NO LATE RESERVATIONS OR “WALK-INS” WILL BE PERMITTED FOR THIS MEETING.  SAFETY EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED.
 

The next meeting of the NACE Pittsburgh Section will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday September 13, 2011.  The meeting will be held at Cabela's in Wheeling, WV.  Jack Whitmire from Columbia Gas will be speaking about atmospheric corrosion.  It will be a joint meeting with WV4C and WPCCC.  Additional details will follow. 

The Pittsburgh Section generally meets the second Thursday of each month and may have guest speakers who discuss various topics regarding corrosion in industry.  We may meet at various businesses or plants in the area for site tours.  Please check back periodically for an updated schedule of events.  Meeting notices will also be emailed.
