Course - CIP Peer Review


CIP Level 3 Peer Review is an intensive, detailed oral examination that is given in front of a three-member review board and lasts approximately two hours.

There is no corresponding coursework for NACE CIP Level 3, only an oral assessment.

Anyone wanting to complete his or her CIP training to become a NACE Certified Coating Inspector - Level 3 individual.
To obtain a NACE CIP Level 3 certification, students must have an active NACE CIP Level 2 certification and have five years of verifiable coatings- related work experience, and a verified application – including references.

Students wishing to sit for the Peer Review may register online, noting that all prerequisites must be satisfied before a certification will be issued.
